This 162x241 cm machine-made wool piece draws directly on that heritage, presenting a tightly packed all-over field of stylized palmette rosettes, arabesque vine scrollwork, and interlocking floral sprays arranged across a ground that transitions through warm terracotta, burnt sienna, and aged amber via deliberate horizontal abrash banding — a chromatic signature borrowed from naturally dyed classical prototypes.

Accents of muted teal and dusty sage punctuate the field with cool counterpoint, while traces of dusty rose and ivory surface in the lighter registers, creating a palette that reads as genuinely time-worn rather than artificially distressed.
