This new 183x274 cm hand-knotted wool piece presents a spacious, airy ivory field populated with an all-over composition of gently meandering vine scrolls, abstracted palmettes, and delicate botanical sprays rendered in muted warm grey and taupe — motifs drawn from the classical Persian Mahal vocabulary but loosened into the characteristic Chobi openness that allows the cream ground to breathe.
