This hand-knotted wool piece presents a classic Shiraz field composition: a deep madder-red ground anchors a vertically stacked central diamond medallion rendered in burnt orange and ivory, surrounded by a dense scatter of H-form tribal glyphs, rosette roundels, and stylized zoomorphic figures that animate the field with restless energy; the lower half shifts to a near-midnight navy ground, creating a deliberate tonal counterpoint that is characteristic of Fars tribal weaving.

Four oversized bracket-form corner medallions with cross-grid interiors command each quadrant, framed by a triple-band border whose reciprocal arrowhead chain and running geometric cartouches are executed with confident, unhurried hand.
