Ziegler Floral Tree-of-Life Ivory

The Peshawar weaving tradition of northwestern Pakistan draws directly from the classical Ziegler and Sultanabad aesthetic of 19th-century Persia, producing open-ground carpets of generous scale and unhurried botanical grace that have attracted international collectors since the late Victorian era.
