Basketweave

Inspired by the timeless craft of textile weaving, this design reimagines the classic basketweave motif through a contemporary lens. Interlocking rectangular blocks create an optical illusion of depth and dimension, as vertical and horizontal bands appear to pass over and under one another in an endless dance. The distinctive scalloped edge softens the geometric precision, adding a touch of whimsy and artisanal charm that references traditional quilting and handcraft traditions.
